Captain Action

Captain Action was a superhero who possessed the power to assume the identity of almost anyone else. His personal motto was "Let justice be done!" Three different men have held the name Captain Action.

Clive Arno

Clive Arno was a widower who was an archaeologist and museum curator and discovered, in a buried ancient city, several magical coins of power depicting Greek, Roman and Norse gods. These coins gave Arno a variety of different superpowers including enhanced physical strength and endurance as well as the ability to change his appearance. He took on the superhero alias Captain Action and became a spy and crime fighter, assisted by his son, Carl Arno, who became Action Boy. Throughout his career, his primary enemy was the sinister Dr. Evil, who was in reality Clive Arno's own father-in-law Dr. Tracy, the father of the deceased Mrs. Arno. Captain Action assisted several other superheroes including Superman.

Miles Drake

Miles Drake was a former Navy SEAL who lied about his age to join the Navy. During Vietnam, Drake discovered a cache of alien weapons. After this, he became a member of the A.C.T.I.O.N. Directorate and took up the moniker of Captain Action to protect the Earth from the Red Crawl and its ally Dr. Evil. He seemingly defeated the Red Crawl and Dr. Evil, and the mantle of Captain Action was taken up by his son, Cole Drake.

Cole Drake

Cole Drake was the son of the second Captain Action, Miles Drake. He took up his father's superhero identity and joined the A.C.T.I.O.N. Directorate following the sudden return of Dr. Evil and the Red Crawl. He used a substance called plastiderm to alter his physical appearance to impersonate different people in an effort to infiltrate the Red Crawl's organization. He has teamed up with the Phantom and is assisted by Action Boy, Sean Barret and Lady Action, Nicola Sinclair.
