Captain Lawton

Captain Lawton commanded the Royal Navy ship the Polar Queen, and was assigned the task of ferrying Ben McBride and Dr. Edwin Norfolk's party to where McBride believed Caprona to be located. Though somewhat skeptical about a land of living dinosaurs, Lawton trusted Dr. Norfolk's judgment on the matter enough to remain aboard the Polar Queen and await the rescue party's return. He and his crew remained, as much as they could, in radio contact with the expedition, Hogan in particular.
