Cardinal Jinette

Cardinal Jinette was the leader of the Knights of the Holy Order and the immediate superior of Gabriel Van Helsing. Jinnette was (apparently) the one who rescued Van Helsing when he was discovered on the steps of the church with no memory of his past life, and although he has nothing but contempt for his monster-hunting methods, Jinnette cannot deny that Van Helsing gets results. He sent Van Helsing to stop Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in London, and was most annoyed when he tracked them to Paris, and ended up destroying much of the Notre Dame Cathedral while battling Hyde. After this, he sent Van Helsing to Transylvania to battle Count Dracula and save the Valerious family form eternal damnation.
