Carl Grissom

Carl Grissom was a male human mobster that featured in the first Batman movie.
Biography
He was once the most powerful crime lord in Gotham City. His downfall began when he became jealous that his right-hand man, Jack Napier, was wooing his mistress Alicia Hunt behind his back. In revenge, Grissom set Napier up to be killed by crooked police detective Lt. Eckhardt while casing Axis Chemicals.
The plan went awry thanks to the intervention of Batman, and Napier was instead transformed into the Joker. One of the first things the Joker did was surprise Grissom in his office and take his revenge by blowing his former boss away.
