Sergeant Carl Stantz is the brother of Ghostbuster Ray Stantz. He is a sergeant in the United States military, and estranged from his brother due to his disapproval of Ray's chosen scientific field. Peter Venkman once stole his car to go out on a date with Carl and Ray's sister, Jean.
