Category:GURPS Infinite Worlds
The GURPS Infinite Worlds setting began in the third edition GURPS products GURPS Time Travel, GURPS Time Travel Adventures, GURPS Alternate Earths and GURPS Alternate Earths 2. It features a near-future Earth in 2015 that discovered parachronics, which enabled them to travel to alternate Earths. However, they are threatened by the rival alternate-traveling world known as Centrum. The setting was revised (among other things, it is now set in 2027) and became the core setting of GURPS in its new fourth edition.
- GURPS Basic Set: Characters (2004)
- GURPS Basic Set: Campaigns (2004)
- GURPS Infinite Worlds (2005)
- Theoretically, all other fourth edition GURPS material
Several other universes are represented as "myth parallels" in the Infinite Worlds setting. These include Oz (which exists as a world on Quantum 4), Sherlock Holmes (the Quantum 5 world Sherlock-1), Black Stallion (an unnamed world), Tom Sawyer (another unnamed world) and further worlds based on the works of Robert E. Howard, Robert McLees, Terry Pratchett and Andre Norton. The Quantum 6 world Sherlock-2 includes elements of the worlds of Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Dracula. Other GURPS settings that exist as Infinite Worlds timelines include GURPS Technomancer (as the Quantum 3 world Merlin-1), GURPS Weird War II (as the Quantum 3 world Merlin-3), GURPS Reign of Steel (as the world Steel), GURPS Banestorm (the Quantum 5 world Yrth) and GURPS Atomic Horror (the Quantum 3 world Klaatu). A Pyramid magazine article suggested that Castle Falkenstein may exist as a world named "Falkenstein". GURPS International Super Teams was also suggested as a possible world in the setting in GURPS Time Travel.
