History

Cavalry Command was a military organization that was formed for the protection of humanity after it expanded into the universe. Ab area that they patrolled from threats and dangers was a place called the New Frontier that was a region of space colonised by settlers who set down on numerous new worlds.

In time, they made contact with a race of vapour beings from another dimension that sought to invade their universe with this race known as the Outriders.

During this time, April Eagle proposed the creation of a new weapon in their arsenal in the form of Project: Ramrod. General WhiteHawk authorised the program in the creation of the large vessel.

Cavalry Command later came under attack by a group of outlaws who besieged their base with the aid of turncoat Jesse Blue.

Overview

Star Sheriffs.

The elite within their forces were highly trained operatives that were known as the Star Sheriffs. Recruits were taken to headquarters where they went through a training regimen that had been done so for centuries that was made to instil in them the spirit of the frontier. Each was meant to be exemplary in everyway as they were elite operatives. Self-defense was considered a key skill for all male and female members. Part of the Star Sheriff creed was never to point a vapour blaster at one of their own unless they faced an Outrider that had to be sent to their native dimension. They were provided with Electronic Badge Units (E.B.U.s) as a sign of their position and authority. These were rectangular devices decorated with a star and could be used to access high priority communications by unscrambling messages.

Cavalry Command Headquarters was top-secret and heavily protected from attack. It served as a site for training of recruits with automated courses used for practice and demonstrations.
