Overview
A prevailing theory amongst the cognoscenti were that these children were born by the Earth to serve as a form of defense system and acted as anti-bodies. (Monarchy v1 #3)
Members
- Axel Brass : a male who gained virtually complete control over his body and operated in the world with other Century Babies in the construction of a machine in 1945 to find a parallel reality with the perfect world. They inadvertently, however, brought about the arrival of powerful beings seeking to destroy the planet with Dr. Brass's team mates all perishing leaving Axel the only survivor who was discovered by the Planetary organization. (Planetary v1 #1)
- Bret Leather : a male who came the Justice of the 20th century where he had the ability disintegrate into an insect horde or reform himself in such a manner. He worked with other Century Babies in 1945 to change World War II only to incidently bring a group of super-powered beings to their Earth where Bret was killed by them. (Planetary v1 #1)
- Kevin Sack : a male who as a child was lost in the jungle where he gained traits of heightened strength as well as a speed until he reached adulthood where he returned to Great Britain and became known as Lord Blackstock. He later met Elijah Snow and slept with his lover Anyakah leading to the birth of Jakita Wagner though Sack would later die in 1945 when defending the world from extra-dimensional invaders. - Hark : a male with a genius level intellect born in China who believed his mission in protecting his homeland but later allied with other Century Babies led by Axel Brass to find a perfect parallel world in 1945 only to unleash powerful beings that killed Hark along with his team mates. (Planetary v1 #1)
- Gaia Rothstein : female child of couple without children but became the physical reprsentation of the earth and in line with the Gaia hypothesis(Stormwatch: Post Human Division v1 #13)
- Elijah Snow : a male who was born in America with cryokinetic abilities and an enhanced intelligence where he travelled the world to hunt down its various mysteries. (Planetary v1 #1)
- Addie Vochs : a black female with black hair who had her powers curtailed by the Fever Men but became known as Vox Populi after meeting Christine Trelane with Professor Q whereupon Vochs gained audiokinetic powers as well as the ability to influence others through her voice. (Monarchy v1 #4)
- Jenny Freedom : a female black skinned girl who escaped the slave plantations in 1858 and battled the Hidden People by joining Stormwatch. (Stormwatch v3 #0)
- Jenny Sparks : a female bisexual blonde who had the power to control electricity and was both a chain smoker as well as a drinker. (Stormwatch v1 #37) Adam-One acknowledged her past existence as being a predecessor of Jenny Quantum (Stormwatch v3 #0)
- Jenny Quantum : female brunette also known as Jenny Quarx who had quantum reality manipulation. (Authority v1 #12) In the new reality, she was a pre-adolescent who was later attacked by the mad Engineer and paralysed by her. (Stormwatch v3 #18) Quantum was seemingly wiped from reality due the machinations of a trio of cosmic beings. (Stormwatch v3 #19)
- Jenny Soul : a female child with telepathic and telekinetic powers though suffering from agoraphobia. She would join the Stormwatch organization after a change in the timeline wiped out its previous incarnation from reality. (Stormwatch v3 #19)

Alternate Versions
- In The Wild Storm v1 #8 (2017), a version of the Century Babies appeared on an alternate Earth in the Multiverse. They were referred to as techne who were nearly as old as the line of the Doctors with them being spirits of the mechanical arts and crafts. Each was a living speculation of the technologies of their time with them typically being deployed as a planetary defensive mechanism. A member of this group acted in tactical manner and though they could get distracted by the world the were otherwise extremely strategic in their actions. The sighting of one of them was a sign of trouble coming in the future. Jenny Mei Sparks was the current techne that appeared in the modern age.
