History
Citizens Protection Bureau (C.P.D.)
At some point, the Bureau hired technical support to fix the computer systems which came in an engineer referred to as Eddie. However, this was actually a teenager who was one of the First Wave that were genetically engineered offspring created with enhanced intelligence. Many of the children were killed as their mutations were terminal and those that survived ended up in foster care. Eddie joined the anti-technology cult called Ensom where he masqueraded as a technician in order to install malicious programming into the CPB central computers. This effectively shut down the headquarters that were all subject to "Eddies" control with various malfunctions leading to the computers being offline and the power transformers overloading. Overview
The Citizens Protection Bureau was a police organization that worked to defend innocent parties from unchecked anti-societal powers. Their investigations allow them to handle cases on both Earth and the Mars colony.
However, on matters relating to the Consortium, the CPB needs to report to the Assessor's Office as they handle all matters dealing with that case.
The CPD lacked any jurisdiction over affairs on Mars. (Episode: Machine Dreams)

- Watkins : male Chief Deputy and Senior Administrative Manager though lacked any operational experience who became involved when the First Wave child had shut down the computer systems in the Bureau headquarters. (Episode: First Wave)
- David Hume : a male detective married to Olivia Hume and had his former partner killed by a rogue Beta Class Android but was later partnered with the Alpha Class Android Ian Farve. (Episode: Machine Dreams)
- Ian Farve : a male Alpha Class Android who was the first of his kind and assigned on a special assignment to the CPB with his true nature kept a secret with only a few people knowing his origins. (Episode: Machine Dreams)
