Cloneblades are weapons that feature in the Witchblade anime series.

History
Cloneblades were living weapons that were manufactured after a study of the Witchblade. These devices were the result of detailed research by Douji Group Industries and the NSWF during the time when he two groups shared technological information. The culmination of their work led to the creation of the Blades that were a fusion of Douji Groups research on the Witchblade and the NSWF's biotechnology. Following this point, relations between the two groups ended and Douji Industries had not retained any contact with the NSWF for over six years. In the mean time, the NSWF began creating a species known as Neogenes that were products of biotechnology with these individuals being bred to be suitable wearers of Cloneblades.
Overview
Ultimately, a Cloneblade was a replica that were inferior to the original Witchblade but retained the same basic structure.
