Biography
Abigail "Abby" Boylen
Boylen first revealed her powers when she spontaneously manifested the ability to generate and ride a mysterious, cloud-like gas—causing her to drift above Evanston, Illinois. This drew the attention of War Machine, who intercepted her and offered her a choice: enlist with the Initiative or forfeit it. Abby joined and began training at Camp Hammond, experiencing both camaraderie and trauma—particularly when fellow cadet MVP died saving her during a freak weapons accident. She displayed impressive skills, earning the highest marksmanship score among cadets and, during a Hydra assault, used a pulse rifle to down an enemy fighter jet. Yet despite the heroism, Abby remained deeply conflicted, ultimately destroying her registration card and abandoning the Initiative once the Registration Act was repealed—a symbolic act of self-determination.
