The Constant Academy of Magical Arts is a school that features in Demon King Daimao.

History

The Constant Academy of Magical Arts or Constant Magical Academy was a school designed to teach students in the mystical arts.

Overview

Sky Corridors allowed students to mystically fly through the air and move about the campus grounds in order to reach a specific location. One site of note was the Mental Discipline Chamber that was a secluded stone created room on the outskirts on the campus grounds. This was used as a site of solitude for students to engage in mental discipline where they were sealed inside for a twelve hour period. Upon entry, they were trapped as there were no controls that allowed them to open the doors as these were present on the outside. Typically, a lone student went inside and meditated in order to enhance their mental discipline but some had gone mad for being locked for so long inside. Those that took part in the mental discipline were advised to take water and a plastic bag to use as a toilet as there were no such facility inside the chamber. Travel outside the academy to the rest of the country was established by lightrails.

Student Handbook.

Transfers into the Academy was rare as the entry tests were noted to be quite difficult with those succeeding being only the best students. Students accepted into the Academy were brought before an artificial spirit oracle that examined the individuals health and even determined their future occupation. This spirit was never wrong in its predictions and it was typically the desired profession of the student. All students were provided the Student Handbook that resembled a small notebook but was a complicated magical tool. Upon opening, it provided a magical index of all the students within the school allowing them to keep in contact with one another. Through knowing another student's name, the user was able to call them telepathically and used the Handbook as a mobile phone. Those that received the call were provided the caller's identification and given the choice to accept or reject the call. In addition, the handbooks were able to transmit text messages from one to another. In areas where there was a disruption in mana, the Handbook was unable to send messages or calls to the other one in the affected area.
