Cyberlink (Kong)

Cyberlink was a piece of technology used in Kong: The Animated Series.

Background

Cyberlink technology was developed by Doctor Lorna Jenkins which served as a method through which two people could communicate via the internet allowing for two way conversations. The Cyberlink also was capable of merging its Human user with that of an animal creating a gigantic fusion of the two with the link user controlling the resulting monster. This technology was stolen from Dr Jenkins by Ramon De la Porta who used it fuse with animals in order to battle Kong.

The use of the Cyberlink merges the Human user to the animal in question creating either a hybrid animal or, in the case of Kong, made the creature larger and more powerful. The process was capable of being reversed thus fusing the animal into the Human body serving as a method of transportation to smaller areas where a large animal was incapable of transversing. This was known as Merger Sequence when it was activated.
