Cybron

Cybron is a cyborg character that features in the 1988 Superman cartoon series.

Biography

Cybron first appears on Earth onboard a metallic pyramid that arrives on the planet. After arriving, his ship is taken to a secure government facility where Cybron makes his move. He immediately begins transforming the planet and its people into cybernetic robots that serve him alone. His plan is nearly successful as he even manages to fight off Superman but the Kryptonian tricks Cybron by forcing him into his energy form at which point he gets trapped within a superconductor.

After this event, other members of Cybron's kind arrive and take the cyborg away due to his criminal actions.
