Demon Swords are weapons that feature in The Sacred Blacksmith.

History

Demon Swords were enchanted blades that were created in the midst of the destructive Vaalbanil Wars that rampaged amongst humanity. These weapons were created from the hatred and death-songs of the deceased that led to the creation of a demon. The wish of the dying was to get revenge against the evil Vaalbanil leading to the formation of the enchanted Demon Swords.

Overview

The mystical nature of the swords meant each wielded one unique elemental power such as earth, lightning, air or darkness.

Certain Demon Swords had a more unique talent of taking on human form and being sapient. Some claimed that these blades were weapons of death and destruction that were born from hate. In fact, it was said that the hatred used in creating them had the singular goal of slaying Vaalbanil.

Though demons, the swords were capable of being killed from injuries and died similar to humans.

Known Swords

• Aria : a tall girl with long brown hair who gained awareness during the Vaalbanil Wars and later was wielded was Cecily Campbell. This blades unique power allowed her to wield the power of air.
• Elsa : a brunette haired young girl created by an old knight of the Vaalbanil War who created the sword to resemble his deceased daughter and wanted revenge on Vaalbanil. This blades unique power allowed her to wield the power of lightning.
