The Digital Laughing Virus is a program that features in DC Comics.

History

The Digital Laughing Virus was a program that was created for use by the Joker. Its origins were traced to a number of threats sponsored by the Joker with him intending to use them to take over Gotham City. This saw him hiring Scarecrow, Solomon Grundy, Silver Banshee and Clayface for these robberies. Among these acts saw the theft of research material of Professor Ivo surrounding super-intelligent self-aware artificial intelligence and the kidnapping of game programmer Gogo Shoto. Afterwards, they forced Shoto to craft the Digital Laughter for the purpose of shutting down all electronics in Gotham.

Overview

It was able to infect any computer system and give its user complete control over its systems.

  • The Digital Laughing Virus or Digital Laughter was an original creation for the animated Batman Unlimited movie.
