History

The Dutch Boy was a series of satellites that were part of a weather control system designed by the inhabitants of Earth in the early-21st century. It came as the result of extreme disaster events that brought about large casualties in 2019 from around the planet. In response, the world became united to fight the danger with scientists from 17 countries coming together under the leadership of America and China to work in this tireless effort. This led to the creation of a satellite system designed to overcome the weather with this being overseen by Overseas Station International Space.

A series of storms were forming in Southeast Aria and the North Atlantic that had the potential to kill tens of thousands of people.

Overview

To protect the planet from disaster events, a way was discovered to neutralise the threat that manifested in the form of thousands of connected satellites. Each were built with precautions and designed to change basic elements from weather such as heat, pressure, and water.

This was an international effort with a team of about 600 people managed by a single person.

As a computer system, it was susceptible to a virus that could infiltrate the network. It was said that there was only one way to purge the virus which was to temporary turn off the satellites and reboot it to clean up the system in order to eliminate. Once done, a backup could be activated to restore the Dutch Boy system.
