Biography
Ebon Candle (Japanese: 黒燭公 (イーボンキャンドル), Hepburn: Iibonkyandaru) was an entity that was one of the Poteau who served as the three guardian pillars of the Visitor Star God Elq Hrqstn. Alongside Jade Nail and Carmine Lake, the three protected their charge as the Visitors arrived on another world that they began to terraform in hope of recreating their homeworld. The Poteau remained on-board their starship as the terraforming project where the Visitors began to turn the native life forms into a form that resembled humans. This saw the creation of the Emnetwiht race who were broken down into curse fragments whereupon the Visitors started creating other races to populate the planet. These included the Lycantropos who were made as a kind of population control to keep the Emnetwihts numbers in check. Once the process was complete, Elq and the Poteau found themselves to be the only Visitors to had remained on the planet. This saw them going into a deep slumber that lasted for hundreds of thousands of years.

After the damage to his body, Ebon Candle was reduced to the form of a giant purple-black skull holding dark schlera and gold eyes.
