- Etta Candy was created by William Moulton Marston and H.G. Peter where she made her first appearance in Sensation Comics v1 #2 (February, 1942).
Alternate Versions
- In Wonder Woman: Earth One v1 #1 (2016), an alternate version of Etta Candy appeared in the new Earth-1 reality set in the restored Multiverse. Elizabeth Candy met Diana of Themyscira on spring break on the way to South Beach, FL, next to Fort Lauderdale, when the bus carrying her and her friends fell into a ravine in the rain at night and Diana saved them. To her, Diana was from a Paradise Island of science fiction lesbians — with a side of bondage. Beth and the Holliday Girls also designed Wonder Woman's costume, and nominating Diana honorary member of Beta Lambda and a Holliday Girl. She accompanied Diana to Themyscira for Wonder Woman's trial to defend her, facing Queen Hippolyta herself, a trial for Wonder Woman's misdemeanor of protecting US Air Force pilot Steven Trevor, a man who crashed on Paradise Island, and taking him to the Man's World without the permission of the Queen. All the other Amazons were disgusted by her appearance, although Hippolyta was impressed by Beth's tenacity.

- In Wonder Woman, Etta Candy appeared in the setting of the 1975 live-action television series where she was portrayed by actress Beatrice Colen. Etta Candy was General Philip Blankenship's secretary. She was a colleague of both Steve Trevor and Diana Prince.
Films
- In Wonder Woman, Etta Candy appeared in the 2009 animated film where she was voiced by actress Julianne Grossman.
- In Wonder Woman, Etta Candy appeared in the 2017 live-action film set in the DC Extended Universe where she was portrayed by actress Lucy Davis. Etta Candy served as Steve Trevor's secretary during World War I. When she first introduced herself to Diana, the latter considered her job as a secretary to be similar to that of a slave. Diana gave her the God Killer and her shield and trusted her to keep them safe. When Steve and Diana were fighting spies of General Ludendorff, she threatened a spy with Diana's sword to prevent him from escaping.
