Faith Herbert
After being recruited into the Harbinger Foundation by Peter Stanchek, Faith Herbert demonstrated her newfound ability to fly by lifting herself and Peter off a rooftop to evade local authorities. She utilized her 'companion field' to carry Peter through the air, navigating the city skyline while expressing excitement over the activation of her psionic powers. Upon arriving at a safe house, she helped establish a temporary base of operations for the small group of escapees, offering emotional support to her fellow Harbingers as they processed their shared trauma. When the foundation's security forces tracked their location, she quickly took to the sky again, using her flight to scout the surrounding area for incoming threats and coordinating a successful extraction for the team before they could be recaptured by Toyo Harada’s agents. (Harbinger v1 #1) Faith Herbert remained in the company of Peter Stanchek as they navigated the immediate aftermath of their escape from the Harbinger Foundation. While hiding out in a derelict building, she practiced controlling her psionic flight, lifting herself and Peter off the ground to test the limits of her "companion field" in a confined space. When the group was eventually tracked down by Toyo Harada’s recovery team, she took to the air to provide aerial reconnaissance, identifying the approaching Eggbreakers before they could launch a coordinated strike. During the ensuing skirmish, she used her flight to draw enemy fire away from her less mobile allies and assisted in a rapid tactical retreat through the city's industrial district, ensuring the small band of fugitives stayed together as they moved toward a new extraction point. Faith Herbert was recruited by Toyo Harada to join his Harbinger Foundation. A latent psiot, Faith's ability of flight was unlocked by Peter Stanchek. Faith was present during Peter's attack against Harada, which resulted from Harada ordering Joe's (Peter's best friend) death. She saved him from the brink of death just as he was falling from the Harada Conglomerates building. Peter being badly injured requested Faith bring Kris Hathaway to him. (Harbinger v2 #4)
Taking on the name Zephyr, she appeared at Kris' window asking that she see to Peter, as he is gravely injured from his attack against Harada. She agrees together Zephyr and she fly to the old abandoned post office, where Peter is lying sickly. He suggest to Kris that she should kill him for all the pain he has caused her, she however declines. Instead she petitions the idea of robbing a local bank with the help of Peter, and Zephyr, which he agrees to in hopes of putting him in good terms with Kris. Kris is able to lure Harada to her home informing him that Peter will be there, however it is all just a ruse. P.R.S. let out an airstrike on the home, thinking they'd had finally killed Peter, little did they know Harada was inside, he then proceeded to murder the remaining P.R.S. troops with his psionic abilities.
Faith participated in the team’s direct assault against Harbinger Foundation agents. She used her flight to strafe enemy positions, lifting teammates to higher ground and knocking opponents aside with bursts of kinetic force. When Torque was nearly overwhelmed, she swooped down to disorient his attackers by creating sudden gusts of telekinetic pressure. Though less aggressive than her teammates, she consistently disrupted enemy formations, ensuring the Renegades maintained their momentum. (Harbinger v2 #6)
Faith then adopted the codename 'Zephyr' and patrolled Los Angeles independently. In the issue, she foiled an attempted robbery by intercepting the criminals’ getaway car mid-flight, lifting the vehicle high into the air before safely placing it on the ground. Later, she infiltrated a warehouse where a kidnapping victim was being held, using her telekinetic shield to deflect gunfire before disarming the captors. Her actions emphasized her ability to function as a standalone hero beyond the Renegades. (Faith v1 #1)

Unlike many of her darker or more cynical contemporaries, she often approached situations with humor, warmth, and a belief in heroism as an ideal. Her personality had been consistently marked by empathy, often acting as the emotional core of the Renegades and a beacon of hope for those she saves. (Harbinger v2 #5)
Powers and abilities
Faith possessed powerful telekinetic flight, enabling her to lift herself and others into the air at high speeds and great altitudes. She could generate telekinetic fields strong enough to deflect bullets, absorb shock from impacts, and disorient opponents.
