Garth was a panther who served as a goon for Khan Industries. He and and his partner, Gus, were sent to kidnap Baloo by Shere Khan after the pilot foolishly took advantage of Khan's little-seen generosity. Garth and Gus held Baloo captive and, to keep up appearances, demanded a ransom from Rebecca Cunningham.
