The Genetic Security Agency (GSA) was a body that was establshed by Mason Eckhart. Their goal was the recapture of the New Mutants that were created by GenomeX in order to begin further genetic testing on them. The agency contained Human agents along with some Mutants. They were depicted as a covert government-backed agency tasked with capturing, monitoring, and controlling “New Mutants”—genetically engineered humans born from the illegal experiments of Genomex. Their first activities centered on aggressive pursuit operations against mutants displaying abnormal abilities, employing strike teams equipped with advanced technology and weapons tailored for subduing enhanced targets. In the episode, they specifically targeted Brennan Mulwray, a New Mutant with the ability to generate electricity, sending agents to capture him alive for containment and experimentation. The GSA demonstrated their access to large-scale resources, using surveillance, rapid deployment teams, and tactical planning, quickly establishing themselves as the chief adversarial force working to round up escaped New Mutants.
