Ghouls (Cthulhu Mythos)
From Multiversal Omnipedia
Ghouls are creatures that were once human, having transformed after turning to an exclusive diet of dead human flesh. Their primary distinguishing feature are their dog-like snouts and hoofed feet. Ghouls are generally found beneath graveyards, and there is also a sizable population in the Dreamlands.
Ghouls are not hostile to humans who take care to be respectful, but those who enter their domain unbidden may not fare so well. However, a new faction of ghouls have appeared in some urban regions who kill living humans to eat them later; these ghouls are considered renegades by the more traditional, grave-robbing kind.
