History
The Giant-Born
A researcher named Daniel Evans had stolen the Trident of Neptune from Aquaman in an attempt to learn more about ancient Atlantis and, in doing so, inadvertently opened the artifact that imprisoned the ancient beasts and the hero Hercules. The Giant-Born, upon emerging, immediately recognized Aquaman's royal Atlantean symbol and launched a direct attack against him, associating him with the ancient family who had originally imprisoned them. Aquaman managed to initially fend off the creatures, as well as the mind-warped Hercules who also emerged from the artifact. The Giant-Born then escaped to the surface, making their way to Carcassonne in France, where Aquaman, with the later help of Wonder Woman and Daniel Evans, ultimately managed to put a stop to their rampage. Overview
In appearance, the Giant-Born were towering, monstrous figures, a striking contrast to the more human-like Atlanteans and surface-dwellers. Their forms were not those of typical humanoids; rather, they were massive, fearsome abominations embodying the ancient power with which they had been imprisoned for millennia. Their sheer scale was their most defining characteristic, marking them as formidable beasts. While the exact intricacies of their monstrous anatomy were a terror to behold, they consistently presented a powerful, intimidating physical presence that immediately set them apart as non-human, primeval threats.
