Golden Tribe (Heroic Age)

The Golden Tribe, also known as the Golden Race, are an elder race that featured in the anime Heroic Age.

History

The Golden Tribe's history was dated to a time long ago during a time that was considered all but lost to memory. In this time, at the furthest reaches of the universe, were members of this elder species. During this ancient era, the Golden Tribe called upon a number of other species from across the stars and summoned these other tribes from their homeworlds to journey into the wider universe. This summons echoed through the void of space that saw three great tribes answer their call. These races included the Silver Tribe, the Bronze Tribe and the Heroic Tribe. In the aftermath, the Tribe decided to leave the known universe for another. Just before they had done so, one final tribe had answered their call to come out into the cosmos. This tribe from the planet Earth came into the universe with its own unique power and thus they bestowed the name Iron Tribe on the race of humanity. (Episode: The Ruined Planet)

Overview

In appearance, most noted events that depicted the Golden Tribe showed them as being golden colored glowing beings covered in robes that seemingly had the form of a humanoid. They were noted not only for their boundless wisdom but their ability to know the will of time and the capacity to create worlds. (Episode: The Ruined Planet)

Background

The Golden Race were an ancient and powerful interstellar species characterized by their glowing gold appearance. They were capable of creating stars as well as the capacity to forecast the future which they did so in order to give warnings to younger maturing species. At some point, they sent out a call to all advanced races that were capable of hearing them in order to tell them to explore the universe. Three races responded at first namely the Silver Race, Bronze Race and the Heroic Race. As they were about to leave, a fourth race responded who were called the Iron Race, Humanity.

However, a civil war erupted at the hands of the titanic Heroic Race who destroyed thousands of planets and stars. Angered at the ruin they created, the Golden Race attacked and punished the last surviving members of the Heroic Race who were bonded to diamonds and forced to serve the other species. Once this was done, the Golden Race gave a series of prophecies and labors for the other tribes to accomplish after which the elder species disappeared in order to begin their explorations of another universe.
