Contents

History

The element was considered extremely rare that most people did not believe it even existed. This was until a scientist by the name of Dr. Franklin Hall published a series of papers on the existence of Gravitonium and possible applications of the substance. (Episode: The Asset)

It was later moved to a secured S.H.I.E.L.D. facility called the "Fridge" where knowledge of it was kept secret. After locked within a vault, the sample of Gravitonium had a hand morph out of its mass before it moved back within the black liquid substance. (Episode: The Asset)

Overview

It was an extremely rare high-atomic numbered element. An isolated charge was capable of turning the element from its isotropic state. Typically, it distorted gravity fields within itself causing an undulating amorphous shape when it received an electric current it solidified and the gravitic field erupted thus randomly changing the state of gravity around it. (Episode: The Asset)

Notes

  • Gravitonium was an original creation for the Marvel Cinematic Universe set in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with it being based on the supervillain Graviton from the comics.
