Biography

Hades (Japanese: 冥王 ・ハーデス , Hepburn: Meiō Hādesu)

Hades was the eldest male and the fourth child of the Titan Kronos and Rhea, born after his sisters Hestia, Demeter, Hera. Unfortunately, Hades was swallowed by his own father when he was a baby and spent his childhood in his father's stomach. Later, Zeus eventually freed his siblings and led a revolt against the tyranny of his father and the other Titans. Once the Titans were locked away in Tartarus, the three brothers drew lots to divide who would rule which part of the world. Zeus got Olympus, Poseidon the seas and Hades was given the Underworld.

Overview

Personality and attributes

In his original body, Hades possessed an otherworldly beauty, in other words, the personification of beauty, particularly because of this he has great value in maintaining his body, without a single scratch. His true body plays a important role in deceiving others when they saw such a beautiful figure, because it hid his cruel and disdainful self away from sight. His skin looks like snow, he has yellow eyes in the manga, but they're colored green in the anime. His hair is long and black, some of the wicks in the front cross over his face, the upper part is shaking, the rest is smooth and shed. His armor is called Hades' Surplice. When he wears his armor, his appearance has an angelic atmosphere despite the gloomy aspect, which is silver and gray details and is composed of several angel wings and stored in Elysium for exclusive use only for the original body.

Powers and abilities

As a deity, Hades had demonstrated an overwhelming telekinesis. He also demostrates the ability to absorb an opponent's attack and then redirect it back to them. Along with his brothers Zeus and Poseidon, Hades battles and defeated the Titans - the most powerful deities in the universe - and took control over the Underworld. Since then, Hades ruled of the Underworld and gaining the monopoly on life and death, therefore, which strikes his ability to obstruct vitality over his opponents. Hades's power is rivalled only be his brothers Zeus and Poseidon.
