Hans Ubermann

Professor Hans Ubermann was a Nazi scientist who sought to discover the lost city of Atlantis and access the power of the God Machine. He and his assistant Klaus Kerner forced Indiana Jones and Sophia Hapgood to take them to Atlantis, where they found the God Machine. Kerner tried the machien out, but mutated into a monster and melted. Nonplussed, Ubermann decided Kerner died because he was "unworthy," and got into the machine himself...only to suffer an even more gruesome transformation and subsequent demise.
