Video games
- In Marvel Rivals, the Heart of Heaven appeared in the setting of the third person hero shooter video game. It was a unique location that was formed due to the effects of the Timestream Entanglement, a multiversal crisis instigated by a hostile meeting between Doctor Doom and his 2099 counterpart. Normally existing in separate dimensions or appearing on Earth only briefly every 88 years, the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven—including K'un-Lun, K'un-Zi, Peng Lai Island, and others—were forcefully drawn together by the shifting currents of time and space, creating a single, converged realm known as the Heart of Heaven. This convergence was a central point in the game's Season 4, titled "Heart of the Dragon," during which the supreme Immortal Beast and protector of K'un-Lun, Shou-Lao the Undying, lay frozen in time, deep in an enchanted slumber. The location became a battleground where different factions vied for control, with Doctor Doom scheming to steal Shou-Lao's chi, which had been infused with chronal energy. A rare, ancient law was invoked, mandating that if a challenge to an Immortal Weapon's title was made during a time of convergence, a great tournament among the champions of all cities had to take place, an event which was central to the season's plot. A key aspect were the Immortal Beasts that were unique, godlike entities that acted as the spiritual heart and voice of the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven. Among the beasts included the immortal dragon Shou-Lao the Undying from K'un-Lun, the flame covered black dog Huodou who represented the Under City a sanctuary for the lost, Xiezhi who was the immortal beast of the dark jungle kingdom of Z'Gambo, the white tiger Baihu, the red flame covered crane Zhuque who was the Vermilion Bird of K'un-Zi, the black tortoise Xuanwu who had a tail consisting of multiple snake heads who was from Peng Lai Island and the dark dragon Yinglong from the secret Eighth City. According to the lore, Daredevil came to confront the demonic entity known as the Beast of the Hand where he defeated it but absorbed its power into himself. The divine dragon spirit Yinglong then intervened, bringing Matt to the Eighth City, which he then transformed from a prison into a sanctuary and refuge for those displaced by the multiversal war. Thus, he gained the title of Dizang where he became a powerful, supernaturally enhanced brawler who delivered a form of divine justice.
