Overview

In appearance, the Hero Hotline was a corporate 24/7 hero organization that took on missions from people with problems that they believe required super-hero expertise. (Action Comics v1 #637)

Its members consisted of superpowered beings who operated as heroes. (Action Comics v1 #637)

They were able to call an ambulance in cases involving injuries. (Action Comics v1 #639) Similarly, they were able to notify the Fire Department of any emergencies. (Action Comics v1 #640)

  • Stretch : Tom Longacre was a human that drank Gingold thus gaining stretching powers but prolonged use of has caused his body to loose its solidity. (Action Comics v1 #637)
  • Microwavebelle : an amateur female scientist who made a Microwave Device that provides her powers and flight. (Action Comics v1 #637)
  • Private Eyes : Lester Lee was a private detective with Goggles that give telescopic, x-ray, microscopic, and infra-red vision. (Action Comics v1 #637)
  • Diamondette : Diana Theotocopoulos was a blonde haired Metahuman to make her hands as hard as diamond. (Action Comics v1 #638)
  • Voice-Over : Andy Greenwald was a skilled ventriloquist and an accomplished vocal mimic. (Action Comics v1 #637)
  • Mister Muscle : Sturgis Butterfield was an obsessive bodybuilder, weightlifter and narcissist. (Action Comics v1 #637)
  • Hotshot : Billy Lefferts was a male Metahuman able to shoot fireballs. (Action Comics v1 #637)
