History

Hexenjagd was a group whose origins were traced to a mysterious Organization who made an important discovery around a century ago. Human explorers managed to uncover the remains of alien ruins and their study revealed mankind itself had ties to the mysterious entities. These aliens were responsible for seeding humanity and creating a genetic trigger that would lead to their destruction. The fate of the entities was not known but detailed study of the remains led to the creation of the Witches though human experimentation and body modification. These consisted of young teenage girls that were implanted with harnests that gave them superhuman abilities but involved them being host to an organism known as a Drasil. In time, these creatures would hatch where they killed their host and became a monster that killed humans in their path. However, the true horror did not lie in that but rather the Grane that was an organism that developed in one out of a thousand Drasil. The birth of a Grane would initiate the genetic trigger in mankind to wipe them out and make the Earth devoid of life. As a result, the Witch that was host to one of these creatures was capable of destroying the world. After learning of this fact, members of the Organization split from the ranks and formed a resistance group known as Hexenjagd. They sought out to oppose the Organization and eliminate Witches to prevent the hatching of the Grane. By the modern day, they discovered that the host of the Grane was #1107 and attacked the transport but failed in killing her. One of their operatives was killed but not before passing her equipment to an escapee Witch named Neko Koruha.
