Biography
The Impossible Man was an inhabitant of the planet Poppup that was located in the Tenth Galaxy. (Fantastic Four v1 #11)
He came to grow bored with all the dangers on his homeworld with the Impossible Man deciding to take a vacation to Earth. (Fantastic Four v1 #11)

The Poppupians were regarded as the galaxy's most adaptable species. Each of their kind contained the entirety of their population in their DNA. As such, so long as one of their kind survived then the entire species came to live on. (Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four v1 #1)
On Poppup, their evolutionary processes were so swift that they could change into anything in order to survive any threat which constantly attacked them. They were capable of becoming anything simply by thinking of it. He was capable of taking a wide range of forms ranging from small spiders to flying craft. Similarly, he could alter his skin such as changing it to bullet proof steel to repel gunfire. (Fantastic Four v1 #11)
