Biography
The Table of Contents (目次, Mokuji) was the physical embodiment of the table of contents and intelligence belonging to the Book of Eibon (エイボンの書, Eibon no Sho).
Overview
Personality and attributes
Though an artificial construct, Index possessed a distinct and slightly eccentric personality.
Powers and abilities
As the embodiment of the Book of Eibon's table of contents, he was capable of exerting control over the very world within the Demon Book and limited control over it in the outside world
Index was responsible for creating the Noah (ノア, Noa) that was the collective name of a group of artificial beings created by the Table of Contents to assist in the dispersal of Eibon's knowledge.
