Integrated Data Sentient Entity
The Integrated Data Sentient Entity is an organization that features in Haruhi.
Background
The Integrated Data Sentient Entity was a combined conglomerate that consisted of sentient data organisms that supervised the region of the galaxy where Earth was located. Within it were five or more factions that included the Moderates, Innovatives, the Compromise, the Thinking party and the radical party. All of these do not necessarily agree with one another or even cooperate with each other to accomplish even the most basic of goals. However, the Entity was controlled by a consensus of conservatives that always attempted to preserve the status quo.
Its ultimate aim of the Entity was to auto-evolve itself and believed that Humanity along with Haruhi Suzumiya being the key to this goal. The Integrated Data Sentient Entity became aware of the existence of Haruhi when she unleashed a massive data flare at Tanabata. Depsite this being the case, the Entity was unable to communicate directly with Humans. Thus, it created a variety of Humanoid Interfaces that were known as TFEI's that were made to facilitate communication with Humans. Many such TFEI's were present on Earth and only relayed information from their own faction.
The Entity looked forward to seeing the changes in their observation subject though the different factions themselves had differing ideas about whether such changes could be provoked. Yuki Nagato's alteration of the world meant that the IDSE did not exist in the timeframe.
