History

The International Robotics Technology Association (IRTA) was an organization founded in the year 2040 following the development of robotic laborers on Earth. This saw the world's economic concerns signing the New Geneva Convention that governed the usage of robotic development. Based at Geneva, the IRTA consisted of a multi-national taskforce of trained soldiers that were deployed on key assignments. Amongst their objectives was to ensure that Clause 21 was not violated which prevented the creation of robots that looked Human. The IRTA thus created a global task force that were known as "Rust Crews" that dealt with breaches in the Convention. They were known to hold the full support of the U.S. military

They were deployed into action in 2080 by the United States following the revelation of the existence of the Hollow Children. This saw the IRTA dispatched into Japan to investigate the Amada Corporation as it was believed Yoji Amada was responsible for their creation and infiltration of Human society. The team consisted of Dan Marshall, Roy Boateng, Faye Le, Charles Gregory and Cain.
