Biography
Origin
Kim Arashikage was a female human who was from the Arashikage Clan and the cousin of Storm Shadow.
When she was 7 years old, she came to study and compete in three forms of martial arts until the time of her graduation from Bryn Mawr. She later travelled to Japan on vacation where she discovered that her family had been ninjas for generations and that she was officially initiated into the clan. This saw her being trained as a kunoichi under the Blind Master where eventually Snake Eyes decided to take her as an apprentice. Over time, he came to convince her to lend her talents to G.I. Joe Team where she came to serve as an infiltration specialist. This saw her gaining the codename Jinx for her actions against the Cobra Organization.

Personality and attributes
In the field, she was sometimes known as Agent Jinx.
During her training, she came to the conclusion that her size and relative strength put her at a disadvantage in a combat situation. To overcome this issue, she decided to raise her craft in infiltration to an art form.
She came to earn the nickname Jinx after the string of bad luck inflicted on COBRA whilst she was working for the G.I. Joe Team.
Powers and abilities
She was noted to had received extensive training in the occult martial arts. From a young age, she came to study and compete in three different forms of martial arts. It was said that she had studied and competed in three forms of martial arts from the time she was seven until she graduated from Bryn Mawr. In fact, it was said that she travelled to the Secret Mountain and had studied the Seven Silent Forms with the Blind Master when she was officially initiated into the Arashikage clan and trained as a kunoichi. Among the techniques taught to her included the Eye That Pierces, the Iron Hand and the Heart That Waits. Her training in the occult martial arts led to her concluding that her size and relative strength put her at a disadvantage in combat situations. Thus, she decided to focus her craft on infiltration where she mastered it as an art. She came to avoid a wide variety of security features and even escape without ever being detected.
Her weapon pack was loaded with ninja gear and weapons for high-flying action and stealthy attacks.

- In G.I. Joe: Sigma 6, Jinx appeared in the 2006 anime television series where she was voiced by actress Lisa Ortiz.
- In G.I. Joe: Renegades, Jinx appeared in the 2010 animated television series where she was voiced by actress Kim Mai Guest. This version was named Kimi Arashikage who was the daughter of the Hard Master and cousin to Storm Shadow.
Films
- In G.I. Joe: The Movie, Jinx first appeared in the 1987 Sunbow animated film where she was voiced by actress Shuko Akune. She was established as a member of the Rawhides, a group of G.I. Joe rookie recruits. Jinx was often blamed for any unlucky occurrences and her codename reflected this fact. She was also shown as being Falcon's love interest. During a sparring session with Beachhead, she made a reference to her blind ninja master. During the final battle against Cobra-La, she was engaged in mortal combat against their most lethal member, Pythona. During the fight, she decided to go blindfolded, as she was trained in this method by her ninja master who was blind and ultimately prevailed against her opponent.
- In G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Jinx appeared in the 2013 live-action film where she was portrayed by actress Élodie Yung.
