Jordy's father

Jordy's father was the (unnamed) father of farmer Jordy Verrill, and husband of Anita Verrill. He died three years prior to the event that caused his son to die. After Jordy began turning into an alien plant creature as a result of touching a strange meteor, the itch bothered him so much he decided to have a bath. His father appeared as a reflection in the bathroom mirror and warned Jordy, "It's the water that it wants!" Jordy, figuring he was a "goner" anyway, ignored his faher's advice. The reflection of his father soon vanished from the mirror.

• Jordy's father appeared in The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill.
• It is unknown if Jordy merely hallucinated his father's appearance, or if he did indeed appear as a ghost trying to warn his son. In the comic, he claims to be the former.
