Josef Wartmann

Josef Wartmann was the proprietor of the Zum Wilden Hirsch. When Colonel Weissner and his men came looking for deserters (in reality the Allied spies led by John Smith), Weissner told Wartmann they were after enemies of the state. A terrified Wartmann initially thought Weissner meant him, but was quickly reassured that this wasn't the case.
