Little is known about Julia, but somehow she became involved with the Red Dragon Crime Syndicate and became the lover of the man called Vicious and befriended Spike. The three were good friends, but eventually Spike and Julia fell in love, and over time decided to run away together. Vicious learned of their tryst and plan to leave and would not allow it. He pointed a gun towards Julia's head and gave her a choice: "Either you kill him, or else both of you die. Those are your only options." Julia ran, and did not meet Spike where they planned to meet, and he spent the next three years dreaming about her.
Julia was a hunted woman, constantly travelling around the solar system to stay one step ahead of Vicious. She stayed for a few months on Callisto and befriended Gren whom was also betrayed by Vicious in the past, before running again.
Three years after disappearing, Julia and Spike were reunited briefly. But it did not last because they were soon tracked down by Vicious's operatives and in the ensuing fire fight, Julia was shot and killed. Her death set into motion Spike's mission to avenge her death and stop Vicious once and for all which ended with the death of both men. Before that, Spike tells Vicious that Julia is dead.
