Jusenkyo

The Jusenkyo were cursed springs in China. There were over 100 springs, each with a different tragic tale attached. By falling into a spring, someone would become cursed with an alternate form. Being splashed by cold water activated the alternate form, while hot water would reverse the change.

Known curses included a young human girl, a boy, a panda, a cat, a black piglet and a duck.

During the Battle of Jusenkyo, all of the springs overflowed, which mingled the waters and removed their effect. (All persons previously cursed remained cursed, however.)
