History

Mirage

The Justice Force were a team of superheroes that operated on Earth. Their membership consisted of Stainless Steel Steve, Metal Head (the stock boy), Captain Deadbolt, Zippy Lad, Joey Lastic the Rubberband, and Battling Bernice.

One day, Casey Jones, Raphael, and Michelangelo are checking out the comic books at Steve's Comics shop. As the guys search for cheap back issues, the store is attacked by weird little robots that crash through the front window brandishing maces. Metal Head and Steve assisted the Turtles and Casey. After the fight, a hologram of Doctor Dome appeared and reveals he was planning to get revenge on the team. Steve takes Mike, Raph, Don, Leo and Casey to his huge house out in the suburbs to introduce them to the Justice Force. The Turtles have offered their assistance in defeating Doctor Dome and his mechanical minions. As the group arrives at the front door, Steve remarks that he hadn't left it unlocked... but it is now. Everyone prepares for battle. Our heroes burst through the doors and are met by a costumed man in a wheelchair. "Zippy!" exclaims Metal Head as he rushes to hug his old friend. Joey Elastic is also there and the old timers explain how the years of wear and tear have taken a toll on their bodies and abilities, but they're still rarin' to go. They find out that Captain Deadbolt is missing and then eveyone hears something on the roof. When Leo opens an attic window to find out what's going on, he's greeted by the sight of dozens of little robots, all armed with medieval weaponry. Leo and Casey get busy fighting the robots on the roof, while the others battle the invading machines downstairs. Our heroes win the skirmish in quick fashion, but are greeted on the front lawn by Doctor Dome in a giant robot that he dubs the Domebot.

Just then, Battling Bernice shows up and kicks the giant mechanical beast in the knee, shattering it and causing the machine to collapse. Bernice then kicks out the windshield of the robot and drags Doctor Dome out. As Battling Bernice holds Dome up by the collar and demands to know why the little villain is doing this, he explains that he wanted to bring her out of hiding, as he's been in love with her for 25 years and needed to see her again. Bernice states that she isn't the original Battling Bernice, but her daughter Ananda. Ananda tells Dome that her mother passed away 3 years ago, and that he has ruined his life by allowing her mother's rejection of him to turn him into a villain (apparently Dome had been a member of the Justice Force until he had a falling out with Bernice). As Ananda chastises Doctor Dome, Stainless Steve interrupts and offers Doctor Dome a chance for redemption - Steve asks Dome to move into his estate, where they can try to heal old wounds. Doctor Dome agrees.

It was then revealed that the Dome had been a member of the Justice Force until he had a falling out with Bernice. Doctor Dome agrees.

2003 series

The original Justice Force was made up of Stainless Steel Steve, Zippy Lad, Joey Lastic, Metal Head, Battling Bernice, and Dr. Dome. The group was active during the Golden Age. Battling Bernice loved both Dr. Dome and Stainless Steel Steve. When she became pregnant, she left the group for a year to have her daughter Ananda. Shortly after rejoining the group, Battling Bernice died in battle and the team was disbanded. Their adventures soon became comics books, with Steve and Metal Head owning their own comic store in Northampton. Domeoids started attacking members of the former Justice Force. Steve assumed that Dr. Dome was behind it. With the help of the Turtles and Casey Jones, he was able to track them to discover that Ananda was behind it, as she blamed the Justice Force for the death of her mother. They were able to stop her by confusing Ananda's mental capabilities and and winning her over, with the help of her father Dr. Dome, with whom she reconciled. Except for Metal Head, the old members returned to retirement.

Overview

In appearance, the Justice Force were a team of superpowered beings that came together to operate as superheroes.

Members

  • Stainless Steel Steve : a superhero veteran member/former leader of the Justice Force. He had a round metallic saucer on his forehead, which he gets his name from, capable of smashing through anything, as well as withstand any blow to the head.
  • Joey Lastic :
  • Zippy Lad : he had the power of super speed with which he could run at superhuman speed. He can fully use his power even in his current state, if necessary by moving his wheelchair with his still functioning arms forward. He can also use his arms as offensive weapon by creating vibrations with extreme speed and thus creating a kind of saw or drum effect.
  • Metal Head :
  • Doctor Dome : he had once been a superhero and was a member of the Justice Force. After many years, however, the Justice Force separated because of Dome's deeper feelings for Bernice. However, she was hopelessly in love with Steve, which therefore led to tension within the team. Dome could not keep his feelings for Bernice a secret, and as time went on, the more obsessive his desire became.
  • Battling Bernice : All the time Doctor Dome harbored feelings for Bernice, however, they were not reciprocated, especially since Bernice was hopelessly in love with Steve. Finally, the Justice Force separated, Bernice gave up her superhero life, got married and had a daughter.
  • Captain Deadbolt : He was mentioned to have the ability to lock his body into immovability in any position.
  • Silver Sentry :
