Biography

Kane was a Mongolian warrior who fought with Genghis Khan. During those years he met two Mongolian warriors, Khabul Khan and Senghi Khan, who became his devoted henchmen. In the middle of 14th century, he became Nakano’s student, an extremely wise and powerful Immortal warrior who mastered the art of illusion. Nakano however would deny him the secrets of illusion and Kane, left enraged, promising one day to return, when he thought himself ready to face his master. He started to focus on The Game, and became a powerful contender. Two hundred years later, after spreading destruction all across Asia, he returned to Nakano’s cave with his henchmen to gain the power of illusion from him. There he met Nakano’s most recent pupil, the legendary Highlander himself, Connor MacLeod. MacLeod, who had been warned by Nakano about him, tried to attack him but was easily beaten. Before Kane could behead MacLeod, Nakano interfered and the two fought. After decapitating him, he gained his magical abilities but was trapped in the cave after the Quickening made Nakano’s cave collapse. Only Connor MacLeod escaped. He and his henchmen would remain prisoners there for almost 400 years. They escaped in 1994 thanks to archaeological excavations that were being made in the cave. After leaving the cave he beheaded Senghi Kahn as a warning to MacLeod (who felt the Quickening) and sent Khabul Khan after him. He was easily disposed of by MacLeod. Kane arrived in New York and fought MacLeod in a Japanese gym. After breaking MacLeod’s katana, he realized they were fighting next to a chapel, which was holy ground, and left. He would kidnap MacLeod’s adoptive son, John, to lure him to a new fight. With his katana restored, Connor fought Kane and was able to overcome his illusions to behead him, returning to his normal life and enjoy his newfound love with Alexandra Johnson.
