Afterwards, his mother came to start a new life on the east coast where she took the name Mrs. Silverstein. Kevin came to be enrolled as a student at the Maria Stark Academy in New York City. (Thunderstrike v2 #1)

His mother came to re-marry after she became involved with Bobby Steele who was a famous football player for the Smasher leading to him becoming Kevin's stepfather. (Thunderstrike v2 #1)
Powers and abilities
