Kitrina accompanied Selina to a ball at Gotham’s Diamond District, and Dick Grayson tried to convince Selina that Kitrina would be better off without the madness of costumed adventuring. He even offered to help her return t school, but Selina told him he should know that at some point children are too damaged to have a normal life. Selina told Kitrina to stay far away from Grayson. (Batman v1 #704)

Overview
Personality and attributes
In appearance, Kitrina Falcone was a female of Caucasian descent with a fair skin tone. She was short in stature, possessing the petite and lean build of a young adolescent or 'urchin'. She featured light brown hair, which was often depicted in a short, somewhat unkempt style, and had green eyes. In her initial appearance within this comic, she did not yet wear a formal vigilante costume, instead appearing in worn, everyday street clothes suitable for a runaway living in Gotham City. (Batman v1 #692) Looking to be a costumed criminal, she decided to take the name Catgirl for herself. (Batman v1 #704) By this point, she wore a modified version of a cat-themed tactical suit. This early ensemble included a dark, form-fitting bodysuit, a mask with pointed feline ears, and specialized gloves equipped with retractable claws. (Batman v1 #697)
Kitrina Falcone possessed a personality defined by an intense and stubborn sense of self-reliance. She exhibited a rebellious streak that made her resistant to traditional guidance, frequently attempting to prove her independence by engaging in dangerous activities without assistance. This trait manifested as a relentless drive to master physical skills, such as acrobatics and stealth, driven by a need to escape her family's criminal legacy and survive on her own terms. She was quick-witted and possessed a sharp, defensive edge to her communication, using bravado to mask her underlying vulnerabilities as an outcast. Despite her young age, she showed a cynical worldview and a lack of trust in authority figures, preferring to rely on her own instincts rather than the promises of others. This defiant nature often led her to take unnecessary risks, as she sought to establish her own identity as a capable individual who was no longer beholden to the Falcone name. (Batman v1 #697)
