League of Ancients

The League of Ancients are a team that feature in DC Comics.

History

During the Obsidian Age, they defended Atlantis from an attack by the armies of the Egyptian warlord known as the Scarab where they killed him and forced his forces to surrender. (JLA v1 #70)

They later confronted the Justice League where they had defeated and captured the Flash as they confronted that team of heroes. (JLA v1 #72)

Overview

It was said that the League of Ancients was unlike the future Justice League. They were unswerving from their convictions which meant that they did not talk or negotiate as they were warriors. As such, they were products of their brutal time period as when they were confronted with an enemy they did everything in their power to kill it. (JLA v1 #74)
