Lieutenant Weizel

Lieutenant Weizel was the police detective in charge of investigating the death of Mark Hales. Although initially he did not believe Al and Angie's story of a giant rat, and sided with Dean White on issues regarding campus security, Weizel soon grew to realize that the rat problem was much bigger than he or the Dean had anticipated. He began to side with Neil Hamilton, and pressured White into allowing uniformed police officers to be present at the grand opening of Hamelin University's new pool. When the giant rats inevitably attacked, Weizel and his men, with assistance from Dr. Hamilton, were able to kill the mutant rodents. Weizel survived the ordeal.
