Lightsaber

A lightsaber is the primary weapon of a Jedi Knight or Sith Lord. The device is a handgrip which projects a blade of energy so powerful that it can slice through anything (except another lightsaber). Traditionally, a lightsaber is created by its user as part of their training. There have been a few variants, most notably Darth Maul's, which had energy blades projecting from both ends of the handgrip.
