History

Longinus Dreizehn Orden (Japanese: 聖槍十三騎士団 せいそうじゅうさんきしだん, Hepburn: Seisou Jū-San Kishidan Seisho-San Kishidan?) was a secret society of sorcerers that was formed in 1939 during World War II. Originally, they were as a cadre of high ranking Nazi officers formed by Heinrich Himmler due to his lifelong fascination in the occult and led by Reinhard Heydrich. Under the guidance of Karl Kraft, they used the souls of those lost in battle as a sacrifice as the basis for their spell. With the war over, the thirteen soldiers became the strongest power of the Nazi remnants where they were commonly referred to as the Last Batallion (最後の大隊, Saigo No Daitai?, literally Letztes Bataillon).

After the war, they disappeared but it was rumoured that they would return to complete their work.

Overview

They were also known as the Obsidian Round Table (黒円卓こくえんたく, Koku Entaku?). Their mission was to help Reinhard achieve Atziluth and become a Hegemony God.

A group within the organization were the Einherjar (エインフェリア, Einferia?) consisting of Battalion Commanders that were also know as the Three Knights (三騎士, San Kishi?).

All members made use of a magical formula known as Die Ewigkeit (エイヴィヒカイト, Eivihikaito) that allowed them to manipulate souls. This was achieved through the use of their respective Holy Relic or Ahnenerbe, that were weapons they wielded. Attacks did not only damage the souls of their target with each blow but could also absorb the soul that was stored in their relic thus empowering their magic further.

Though holding 13 seats, members could be replaced with some being killed over the years. A new member could this take a seat at the table though certain positions had remained vacant.
