Biography
Lorelei was a female member of the Asgardian race and the younger sister of Amora.
The Asgardian noblewoman sought to establish her own influence across the Nine Realms. While exploring the mystical regions of Asgard, she encountered a group of elite warriors tracking a rogue Troll. Lorelei used her cunning and supernatural presence to corner the creature. Demonstrating the immense physical power typical of her race, she managed to overpower the beast herself, asserting her status and capability to the surprise of the hunting party. Loki witnessed a group of Asgardian warriors engaged in a forbidden Troll hunt. The Troll was hiding when it saw Lorelei offering to help hide it but when she gets close, she grabs it and hoists it up winning the hunt. Loki invites her back to his castle and she agrees. (Thor v1 #337) Loki chose Lorelei to seduce his longtime enemy, his stepbrother Thor, god of thunder. Lorelei, who was strongly physically attracted to Thor, needed no persuasion to agree to Loki's scheme. Lady Sif was strolling through the garden when she witnessed Thor and Lorelei lying together kissing. Sif stormed up and strikes them both to the ground, then storms off telling them they deserve each other. Lorelei tells him that if she knew it was that dangerous, she might not have taken part in the jest. Thor morphs into Loki and tells her that Sif will leave and that she will succeed where her sister, the Enchantress, has always failed. (Thor v1 #338) When Beta Ray Bill was brought to Asgard, she found the alien repulsive. (Thor v1 #339) Lorelei asked Loki what he is getting out of their game, to which Loki replies that it will amuse him. (Thor v1 #340)

- In Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Lorelei appeared in the live-action television series where she was portrayed by actress Elena Satine. In the episode "Yes Men", Lorelei was revealed to have been a prisoner in Asgard before she was released during the attack of the Dark Elves in the events of Thor: The Dark World. She arrived on Earth to recruit an army where Sif, with the aid of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, was able to defeat Lorelei and bring her back to Asgard to be re-incarcerated.
