Lugh Tuatha Dé (Japanese: ルーグ・トウアハーデ, Hepburn: Rūgu Tōahāde) was originally a Japanese male born in the real world. By adulthood, he came to be a skilled assassin who gained infamy in the criminal underworld. Lugh was an elderly man where he was known as the world's greatest assassin and was expecting to retire and become an instructor for recruits after one last mission. Throughout his time as an assassin, he has employed uncountably various and different tactics to achieve his objectives. In the past, he has even used his body as a form of seduction to assassinate his targets. On his way back, he realized that the assassination organization doesn't need him anymore and wanted to eliminate him by causing his plane to crash. That only saddened him as he had always been loyal to them and would have even taken his own life if they had told him he was no longer needed. As he died, he was transferred to a different realm where he met a Goddess who offered him to reincarnate with a new life or retain his memories and knowledge and reincarnate in a different world, where he must kill the hero. Wanting to live for himself, the man agrees to the second offer, chooses his skills, and was reincarnated as Lugh Tuatha Dé, heir to a clan of assassins.

Personality and attributes

In appearance, Lugh Tuatha De was a male human with spiky silver hair and silver eyes. He wears an assassin outfit that looks like a normal aristocrat dress. During his youth, he was described to be handsome and had many girls and proposals chasing after him. In his previous life he was an average height man in his 40-50, with white beard and hairs. Wearing a black coat, with a red suit and grey tie on the inside. Before his death, he was given the alias of Allen Smith.

As a master assassin from his previous world, he is ruthless in killing his targets. He has shown a calm and collected demeanor even during life-threatening situations.

He was described to be a kind-hearted person as shown when he saves Tarte from dying alone in the cold and telling her he needed her. He saved Maha and Tarte from dreadful situations, gave them a purpose, and raised them to be capable people even without him present. Despite being tasked with killing the hero, he actively looks for an alternative to save her instead, empathizing with the hero for the pressure put upon her by the world.

Lugh was the second child and son of the noble Cian Tuatha De and his wife Esri Tuatha De. He had an older sibling who had died by the time Lugh was born. His status meant that Lugh was the designated heir of the House of Tuatha Dé.

Powers and abilities

Lugh Tuatha De was originally born a human being with no inherent abilities. By adulthood, he came to be a skilled assassin with a lifetime of experience in his chosen profession. After his death, he was brought before the Goddess who offered to reincarnate him in a new world with a chosen set of skills. Lugh had all the five basic ranks for skills: S, A, B, C, and D. Merely possessing an S-Rank skill is enough to put someone among the strongest people in the world, making him possibly the most powerful assassin in the world.

As the best assassin in his previous life, his assassination skills surpassed even his father's in the current life. With his knowledge and wisdom combined from both worlds, it was able to help him defeat his father, who was known to be the greatest assassin in their family's history, despite him being much younger.

Among the skills known to him included:

• Rapid Recovery : an S-Rank ability that increased the recovery rate of the user's stamina, mana, healing, and so on. The recovery rate was increased by a factor of 100 where this multiplier could be increased with training. Ability acquired from the goddess before complete reincarnation. Lugh reasoned this was the best choice in order to match or exceed the hero's own stamina.

Within the reincarnated world, he was born as a member of the House Tuatha Dé that were a noble house situated in Alvan Kingdom. The Tuatha Dé Family was extremely wealthy. On the surface, House Tuatha Dé was a respected family that possessed the best medical knowledge in the kingdom. It was well known that they used their superior curative methods to earn themselves great rewards and the favor of the royal family as well as many other lauded houses. It was hidden from the public eye, however, that the Tuatha Dé clan was in fact a group of assassins that carried out requests for the royal family and a certain dukedom. They used murder as a tool to remove those who had become a liability for the country.
